DESCRIPCIÓN EN INGLES

 INGLÉS:

On June 20th, around 8 a.m., they started loading us onto the buses. Once we were on board, our trip to Furesa began. I sat with my friend Lessy, and in front of us were my friends Jonathan and Wilson. We were joking around, eating, and having fun.

A little while later, we arrived at our destination—it was around 9 a.m. I got on some rides while the younger kids were being organized, and my friend Lessy did a little photo shoot for me.

Then they started lining us up, and I joined my little group, which included: Lessy, Alex, Jefferson, Alisson, Lessy's sister, Alisson's mom, and my chaperone. A bit later, Miss Dolores joined us too.

When we went in, Alex let me borrow his camera. We saw the snakes first, but since there were a lot of little kids there, we moved on to see the buffalo. I loved them—I really love buffaloes! I don’t know why, but they’re awesome. I spoke to them sweetly, but they didn’t pay attention. Then I saw a peacock, and there was a short fence, so I leaned over to take a picture. Lessy came over and said, “Did you see what’s under you?” I looked down and saw a giant turtle right underneath me. I screamed and ran because I have a phobia of turtles. So ugly! The others took pictures, and then we kept walking and saw some birds.

After that, we started going up a sloped path that led to the panther habitat, but it wasn’t there—or maybe we just didn’t see it. We kept walking and saw the tapirs. Honestly, such ugly animals! Their noses are weird and floppy—not impressive at all. We kept walking on a kind of sketchy path and got tired since it was uphill, and there was nothing but plants, rocks, and dirt. We were cracking jokes and talking about how we wanted to see Valentina (the bear). That’s when we saw a sign.

We got super excited because Lessy really wanted to see the monkeys. We arrived all tired, but there they were—tons of monkeys of different colors, names, and sizes.

There were a lot of people there, but we still took a bunch of pictures and videos. There was a super cute baby monkey, and a bunch of them were hanging around. After Lessy had taken like a thousand photos, we decided to start heading down a nearby path. While walking down, we could hear the macaws. Then we saw a fence and noticed everyone was taking pictures—it was the tiger

We couldn’t see the white tiger clearly at first, but then we saw it walking to the other side of the cage. I ran and jumped some steps from a little hut nearby. Alisson came right after me and jumped too. While we were taking pictures, we heard a loud “Pash!”—Lessy had fallen! HAHA! We didn’t catch it on video or even see it clearly, but Alisson and I started laughing like crazy while Lessy tried to explain how she fell. Then we heard Alex asking, “Who fell?” and before he could finish his sentence—Pash!—he fell too! HAHAHA! We burst out laughing again. And guess who saw both falls? Mr. Stanley! HAHA!

After taking some tiger pictures, we calmed down a bit. Then Alisson and I went to the bridge, and she took some pictures of me.

After that, we kept walking and found many empty cages, so we continued. Then we arrived at an area where there were lots of things; some people bought water and soda. But we saw there were too many people, so we decided to go, and there was a lion and a lioness — the lion couple. I liked them, but the lion looked very poorly cared for, and it made me feel sad. Still, it was amazing to see them up close.

On the other hand, behind us there was a hippopotamus with lots of peacocks, but the hippo didn’t come out much. We kept walking until we reached the red macaws and the pajuil, coatis, raccoons, macaws, toucans, and cojolitas. But before we saw them, we went up a little path and saw that there was a tiger up at the top, but it was starting to move. The high school girls with Lessy, I think, tried to take videos or pictures of it, but they couldn’t. I decided to go back down to see what else was there, and then Edwin came to get me and told me he was going to show me some little animals. So he took me to see the coatis, and we stayed chatting while the others were coming down. When they came down, I said goodbye to Edwin and went with Lessy and the others to see the birds and raccoons.

I really liked the raccoons — I never thought I’d see one, but there they were. The macaws were also very pretty, and the pajuil… I’m not sure what it was, but it was amazing. I liked it, but what I didn’t like was hearing the macaws talk — they were annoying. But we kept walking because the area was getting crowded, and then we saw a sign that said “restaurant,” so we turned back.

We walked past the lions again and kept going. While we were talking, Jefferson said, “Isn’t that the bear?” and we all screamed and ran toward the cage — and yes, there she was: Valentina!

I loved seeing Valentina. Wow, it was honestly so amazing to see her — she’s incredible.

After getting excited about seeing her, we noticed more cages, and in one of them was Rico, a jaguar. There were also peacocks, and in another large cage, more birds. But then we saw some swings and decided to get on. We started laughing and spinning around, but I also wanted to take some pictures under a really pretty arch that was there — and Jefferson took them for me.

It was already around 11:45, maybe, but Miss Dolores was telling us that it was time to leave, so we started walking and got to the area with some ducks and hippos. There was also a tiger. We saw some stairs, but we didn’t think they were important, so we didn’t go up. We just stayed watching the hippos and the tiger.

But I thought it was weird—what about the crocodiles? The caimans? We hadn’t seen them, and the only thing left was the exit. Then I saw a guy who worked there, and I asked myself where the crocodiles were. He told me they were up the stairs. HAHA, and we had thought there was nothing there! So we went back that way, but we saw the guy carrying sacks of food and heading to the hippos, and yep, he was. So we followed him and took a little path to get a better view of the hippos, and we saw them come out to eat. They looked a bit injured, but they were amazing and awesome—I loved them.

We took videos and then went over to where the crocodiles were, and we saw there was another tiger—this one was Sultan—but we also finally saw the crocodiles and caimans. There weren’t any signs, though. Some were small, and others were bigger.

Then we went down the stairs and kept walking, but we stopped on some rocks that were after the bridge and took some pictures. After that, we kept walking and sat on some ledges that were there, and some people bought sodas. I bought a skewer and we just stayed there doing nothing. I carried Katherine’s little sister for a while and then gave her back so I could go talk to Edwin’s sister—and also talk to him—so I spent some time with them. Then I went back to hang out with the others, and I went with Alisson to look for a churro. That’s when Romualdo told us it was time to leave. It was around 12:30, and everyone started getting on the buses, but some people were still missing. Supposedly, the buses were going to leave at 1:00, so they turned them off because it was really hot. I decided to sit on the floor of the bus and called Miss Karen to ask her something, but she didn’t answer.

At 1:00, they started the buses again, everyone sat in their places, and we left. I fell asleep on Lessy while the people in front were joking around and Lessy was watching TikToks. About 45 minutes later, we arrived at school, and Lessy woke me up. We all started getting off, I said goodbye to everyone, and then I took the minibus home.

That was my experience at Furesa. I loved everything and had so much fun with the people who were there. Honestly, I would love to go again and have a good time once more.
